Birth Doula Support
If you’re looking for a birth doula in Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire or North London, I would be delighted to support you.
My role is to provide calm, consistent support throughout your pregnancy, birth and the first hours after your baby arrives - offering both practical guidance and a steady, reassuring presence.
No two births are the same. I take the time to understand what matters most to you, so you feel informed, supported and able to approach your birth with confidence.
What’s Included
Initial Meeting
A relaxed, no-obligation chat where we can get to know each other. Choosing the right doula is important - this is your opportunity to ask questions and see if I feel like the right fit for you and your family.
Two Antenatal Visits
These take place in your home, at a time that suits you, usually around:
26–28 weeks
36–38 weeks
During these sessions, we will explore your preferences for birth, talk through your options, and prepare practically and emotionally for the weeks ahead. There is plenty of space for questions, concerns, and open, honest conversations.
On-Call Support
I am on call for you 24 hours a day from 10 days before your due date until your baby arrives, so you know I am available whenever labour begins.
Continuous Support During Labour and Birth
From the point you need me, I will be with you throughout your labour and birth, offering consistent support, reassurance and practical guidance. My focus is on helping you feel safe, informed and supported in your choices.
Support with Feeding
After your baby is born, I will support you with the first feed - whether that is breastfeeding or bottle feeding - in a calm and unhurried way.
Postnatal Visit
A dedicated visit after the birth to check in on how you are feeling, talk through your experience, and offer support as you begin life with your baby.
Additional Support
If you would like extra support during pregnancy, I can also attend midwife or consultant appointments with you - offering another pair of ears and helping you feel more confident in the decisions you are making.
A Final Note
Birth can feel unknown and, at times, overwhelming. Having the right support in place can make a significant difference to how you experience it.
My role is not to lead or direct your birth, but to support you in a way that feels steady, respectful and entirely centred around you.
